How Do You stand Out From The Crowd?

 

I just did a post a few days ago: How do I close a deal the easy way?
and I wanted to add a little more to it and hopefully help you  close sales.

Now I am asking you: How do you stand out from the crowd? I am referring a lot to the program I bought a year ago, and everything I learned is crucial for anyone wanting to make sales.

Did you ever have the feeling that even if you are doing a lot: writing articles, taking care of the social medias, doing videos, advertising, nothing works? Are you fed up with it and ready to give up? Well don`t there is hope.

All you have to do is to learn the right techniques and fortunately,there are some available.What`s about using a little bit of psychology? There is a lot to learn from it and this can change your business for ever and that be the only way you will stand out from the crowd.

So let`s go: (All this can be learned in a book written by Patrick Ranvoise and Christov Morin.)
Did you know that there are 3 brains:

  • -One that thinks
  • -One that Feels
  • -One that decides

Who do you think is the one that will interest us? The old brain because it is the one who decides.
There are some rules to follow:
1) WIIFM; what`s in it for me
You have to talk about your prospect.Everything has to be about them

2)The Use of contrast
You can`t be bland and neutral.The old brain likes contrast such as: day and night,black and white

3) Talk in street language
You have to keep your conversation simple, no big fancy words.

4)Have a starting point and an ending
Which means: don`t talk too much. Skip the middle. Only talk bout what is important:”It started like this and fortunately, it ended like this.”

5)Tell your story with pictures
Make them see what you are taking about, this can be done just like if you were describing a movie or something that happened to someone

6)Trigger their emotion
Your prospect will remember what you say,if they felt something while you were speaking.
These 6 elements have to be present when you interact with your clients. The old brain needs them all. Don`t forget this is the old brain that decides.

So you have to arouse the interest and the curiosity of the old brain.You can`t manage otherwise. Then,you have to channel that desire, if not, you will loose it.
Your prospect  has to know what he will gain from it, “What`s In It For Me”….
Stop selling, only have your prospect in mind. Think about how he may feel, what interest him and don`t forget to alternate between desire and tension (See: How To Close A Deal The Easy Way!)

Don`t expect the clients to have their wallets out, just because you gave them a presentation. They have to know you, and they have to talk about themselves so that you learn their secrets,who they really are. You have to find out about their real objection. They may have a few, but usually, only one is important:So if you want to stand out from the crowd: Listen, ask questions and listen again.

Affiliate Marketing On Your Blog?

 

Let`s day you have started a Blog and you are thinking about monetizing it.
What are your next steps? What should you consider before getting started? How should you use affiliate marketing on your Blog?

Before you jump unto the nearest program, there are a few things to consider:
1) Think about your blog’s audience.
They are, after all, probably  visiting your blog because they like what you have to say. So choose affiliate products or programs that complement your blog’s overall subject matter,your niche and your audience.

2) Think about products and services that are relevant to your audience.
For instance, selling subscriptions to games magazines may not necessarily work if you yourself are not interested in them and your blog focuses on weight loss.

3) Personal recommendations always work best.
Part of having affiliate products on your blog is to promote or market  them as well. This is why having relevant affiliates to your blog works best. Products you can genuinely recommend or endorse have a higher chance of attracting your readers and establishing your credibility as an affiliate blogger.
You want to attract more traffic to your blog, but this also includes making sure they keep coming back. Being open and honest about the products your recommend works in this regard.

4) Focus on quality.
It’s no secret that everyone wants good quality, and this applies to your affiliates as well. Do you research and look for products that have a good reputation and consistently good reviews.

5) Use contextual links to draw readers in.
There are several options for displaying affiliate links, but the more successful ones that get the most clicks are when they are set in context. Remember, visitors are coming to your blog for what you say and share. If you have an article about kitchen organization and then have a link to some kitchen storage products, readers are more likely to click on it than if it were right on the top of your blog or your sidebar.

6) Avoid cluttering your blog.
Your blog should not become one giant advertisement. It will alienate your readers instead of attracting them.
Pick and choose which programs and products that would best serve your audience and blog. •

7) Be open and honest.
By this I mean that your readers should know that by clicking on an affiliate link, you will be paid for it. Don’t fool your readers—most are smart enough to realize it and they’ll stop visiting. I personally have an affiliate disclaimer and it can be seen at the top of my pages.

8) Track and plan the statistics.
Most affiliate programs allow you to track statistics and other data that you can use to plan future posts, using your affiliate products. You can see which links generated the most or the least responses and make any necessary adjustments.

9) And lastly, don’t lose focus.
Remember, using affiliate products is one way to generate more traffic to your blog, but primarily you should be writing up new and relevant blog posts to draw readers in. Don’t get too focused on inserting many affiliate links, instead continue creating  relevant blog posts.

These are the 9 steps to follow with affiliate marketing on your Blog. If you take my advice and do it the proper way, you will be successful. But don`t forget, it may take some time.

How Do You Build Your List?

 

Again, a lot has been written on the subject and as much as I believe in the importance on having a list, the question is :

  • -What do you do with your list?
  • -Are you engaging with your readers?
  • -Are you monetizing your list?

What is the point to have 20,000 people in your list,if you don`t make sales?
Let`s start with the basic: How do I build a list?

1)-Have an opt-in form
Building a list takes more than just putting a simple subscriber box with an email address field on your website.
While it’s still useful, you must also find a way to encourage people to “opt-in”, usually by offering a free gift or e-book etc. That’s when you can really start building a relationship with them. The beauty of it is that it can be done automatically without having to personally attend to each prospect.

2)-Choose the right tool
The right tools depend on the kind of blog you’re using. For example, there are tools, designed specifically for WordPress, while there are others that will work with all other sites like Facebook and Blogger. Be sure to check out the plugin’s homepage to find out what blogs it’s compatible with.
Networked Blogs will connect your blog to your Facebook profile, while Twitterfeed will connect you, to your Twitter profile.
These can be designed the way you like:
You may have  a sign up page, a footer, a sidebar, or a pop-up kind of tool. Some types of tools even incorporate all or most of these features. It depends on how you have designed your blog.

3)-Get an auto-responder
You have a choice of tools to use to build your list. The most popular are: Aweber, GetResponse, UFA (Ultimate Footer Ad), and Digi List Builder require that you pay for them. There also free ones you can use, such as Optin Crusher, Codebanter, and the WordPress plug-in mentioned above.
These plugins, work very well to help you build your list.
Whatever you choose, make sure to follow the instruction and be careful that everything fits with your blog’s style and auto-responder system.

4)Download your tools
In most cases, you will download a plug-in and install it at the settings menu in the back end of your blog.
The installation may be different for each tool, so be sure to read the instructions on their website to make sure you got it right. Essentially,you have to download the application, upload it to your blog, copy-paste your auto-responder details, configure your settings, then activate the plug-in.

To resume: with an opt-in page, an auto-responder and all the plugins I mentioned, you should be able to get a lot of visitors to your site, and therefor build your list. As you can see, the process is fairly simple and once you have a list, please, interact with it. Don`t let it there just hanging .If you have a product or a service to offer, use your auto-responder and send broadcasts and monetize. After all that is the reason you work so hard to build your list.

Are You Ready To Make Money?


Are you ready to make money?

I have written many posts so far, and one thing I realized is: all the articles related to making money from home, were the one that were the most viewed.
I thought learning “how to” was one of the most important step, and that`s why I have been given a lot of advices. But maybe I am mistaking. I can tell from my postings here and in the comments I get on my Blog: people are just looking for a way to make money, and to make money “Now”.

So if you are ready to make money now, read a little further.
I am an Internet Marketer because I believe this is the place for the future. I also have products to promote and a company I am part of. I was waiting for the right moment to really dig into it,until yesterday.

Yesterday I got an e-mail from the company co-owner, explaining many changes happening within the company and the payoffs that will take place in the next few days. It is going to be so great, I decided it was the right timing to introduce you to it.
The possibilities to make money are very good, even in this difficult economy. I am working on a Power Point and this one should be ready within a week. I do believe that if you need to make money, this is something that can help you.
This is not a gimmick or a get rich quick program.

How To Close A Deal The Easy Way!


I just finished listening to an audio, and the subject was about:
The way to talk to your prospect in order to close a deal the easy way. The way this lady talks is fantastic.

This is the same lady who has a program really worth looking at.

Of course, since it is her specialty, she talked about the psychology involved during a conversation with a potential client.
We all want to close a deal, make a sale and get paid for it. I don`t know about you, but I work hard and I want to be rewarded.

Very few people know: how to close a deal the easy way.
In one of my previous post, I explained what to say to a prospect, after  a presentation, when everything is fresh in their minds. Today, we will over the psychology involved during any conversation where you talk to a potential buyer.And you will learn more secrets about closing a deal the easy way.

I went back to her site and reviewed a little what she is teaching.

For one thing, she talks about killing your prospects by using too many adjectives instead of verbs. And about talking too much about the features of your opportunity instead of the results.
Well, it is one of the first mistakes most marketers do when they talk to a potential client,or when they write articles etc.
The secret is to talk about the results, not the features.

So how do you close a deal the easy way? You have to get them excited about your product or opportunity. Build their desire, but be careful, desire alone won`t turn your client to prospect.
In the audio, she explained a very effective way to go about it.

Do you dance? Are you ready to take the lead? Do you want to close a deal? Well if you do, you need to take the lead and keep it . It has to be a good mix between desire and tension.
Something like creating a desire, then, when you see your prospect starting to be tense, you let go of the tension saying something like: I know, I hate to feel obligated, so, let`s talk about something else: how is your family, your business etc?

Do you see what happens?: The client is somehow still expecting you to talk about your business or opportunity, and all of a sudden, you turn it around and talk about something completely different. Do yo have an idea of what goes it their minds?  They think that they are missing out on something. That you should have keep on talking, but you stopped.
What is happening? Why did you do that?

Make the tension work for you not against you. It is like fishing: you catch the fish,it struggles and fights, you let go. The fish quiets down. You pull again and it wiggles again even harder. You can do that for quite a while, and unless the fish breaks away, you will catch it.

It is the same with a potential client,and you? Do know how to close a deal the easy way?
3 simple steps:
Give something, build the desire, and let go. Talk about anything, but the business. Then they will be the one coming back with more questions. Give a little and switch back on a very neutral subject and watch them again coming at you thinking that they are missing on something.

That technique has worked for a long time and will work for years to come.

Goals Are Necessary To Succeed

 

Often, people start an Internet business,or an MLM, after they went to a conference, or after a friend got them involved in one. And I guess you know what happens: most of them quit after a few months. All they can say is that they wanted to succeed but it just didn`t work.
Do you know that the majority don`t set up goals. I know,there is a lot that has been written on the subject, but unfortunately it is like it comes one ear and goes out in the other: Goals are necessary to succeed
It’s been proven time and time again that people who have goals are more successful in life and in their business.

Having no goals is like getting into a car and driving for 12 hours.  Turning left and right.  Going on one freeway and down another.  Then landing in the middle of nowhere and saying “This was the WORSE vacation ever”.  Yet you had no road map, no destination in mind, no idea where you wanted to go.
You would not do that in real life, but why do you do it in your business?

You must have goals in your business in order to get where you want to be. What do you really want?

  • -Is it your goal to have a hobby?
  • -Is it your goal to have a $25,000 a year business?
  • -Is it to reach the top level of your company?
  • -Is it to retire?
  • -Is it to pay your bills?

You need to decide what you want and what it will take to get it: Every step counts. Small goals will bring you to bigger goals.Even if they are small, goals are necessary to succeed.
If you figure it would take you an extra $1,000/month for now, set your goal at that amount. Don`t start with  want to make a million, you will fail.
Your thousand dollar should be your goal for now. Then decide which steps you will need to take to reach that amount. How long do you think it will take. Be sure to have reasonable goals,otherwise, you will be disappointed. Start small and grow bigger as the time goes by. Get yourself a time limit and work at it,until you get it

Goals are necessary to succeed, specially if you are part of a business that is demanding and with a leader that may be a little too pushy.
There is something I would like you to do something this week end: Try to get away for a couple of hours, in a quiet place and bring a pad of paper and pen/pencil with you. Think about your business.
Ask yourself these questions:

  • -Why did you join your company?
  • -Why do you want to stay with your company?
  • -Is there anything new that you have learned since you have joined
  •   your company that you didn’t know before…that excites you?
  • -Which income are you bringing from your business per month?
  • -What would you LIKE to make with your business per month?
  • -Is being a leader an attractive prospect to you?  Why or why not?
  • -Do you see yourself in this business 3 years from now?  5 years? 10 years?
  • -If your business went just the way you wanted it to for the next year,
  •   what would you like to be earning this time next year per month?
  • -Do contests motivate you?
  • -Do you want to earn company trips?
  • -Are you willing to work the time necessary to earn contests and trips?

The answers to the questions above, should make you realize if your goals are realistic or not.  The most important thing is to honest with yourself.  Remember, your goals are YOURS.  They are not your spouses, they are not your leaders, they are not anyone else’s but YOURS.
If you think that the business is not for you anymore, that`s fine unless you really gave it a try. If your expectations were too high but you love the business you are in, set smaller goals and climb the ladder at your own speed.

How To Set Up A Schedule

 

Having a schedule is one of the most important component in the life of an Internet marketer.For some reason,because we mostly work from home,we often have the feeling that we have a great flexibility with our time. But a lot of us feel that there isn’t enough time in a day to accomplish everything that we want to do.Why is that?

How do you set up your schedule? Do you know how to set up a schedule ?
As I mentioned in a previous post,you need an agenda,or a calendar, anything to help you stay focus on what you need to accomplish. Take whatever works better for you but write it down.

Here are some suggestions on: How to set up a schedule:
1)  Set your priorities
Let`s say you work another full or part time job. This  needs to be marked out of your calendar. You will know when you will be available for certain tasks and when you won`t.
2) Make time for your family
For instance, if you have family dinner Sunday nights at your in-laws, that’s an appointment, so mark  it down.  Or, if you have a class on Tuesday nights, that needs to be written down in as well.
3) Mark out your kids or your sporting events.
Don’t compromise on this.  Family is high priority and no matter how much money you can potentially earn, don’t put money before your family time. So document all those games as an appointment.
4) Make time for your social life
Don`t forget anniversary and take your spouse or boy friend /girl friend, out at least once a month. Believe me,this is very important for any couple
5) Schedule your day at home

If you are a mom or father working from home, mark out times for getting kids off to school, homework time, etc.
6) Think about pampering yourself
Whether it is working out, going for a walk,getting a massage, reading a book, write that down too. You’ll be surprised how much you put yourself last despite how busy you seem to be doing a lot of work.
7) Think about Personal Development/
Did you know that most successful marketer spend at least 30 minutes every day reading or meditating, before they start their days? They say that  it helps build up mental strength. Find an inspirational book that will get you motivated and ready to conquer the world.
8)Look at the blank spaces on your calendar
Now it is time to make a point and use that remaining time for your business. Be very focus and set your list of activities that you will do at specific times.If you don`t do that, you might be tempted to work only “whenever”
9) Write down your tasks

You will need to set aside time for prospecting, time for follow up calls, time for marketing etc.You will see how the time goes quickly, so make sure you write it down on paper.
10) Set your schedule depending on your goals
If you realize you need more time for your business goal, get up one hour earlier,work at your business instead of watching television(specially if you have an other job as well)

This being said, change your schedule as needed.That is what setting a schedule is all about.
But make sure to have one, it is absolutely necessary if you are going to have a successful business.
So don’t put it off, but get started today!!

How Can I Get More traffic To My Blog?

There is one thing you should keep in mind if you want to get more traffic to your blog.
Your blog doesn`t have to be perfect before you publish it. There are marketers who wants their blog to be awesome looking and work hard on it. But why loose your time and energy if you fail to get it noticed?

The blogs that bring a lot of consistent traffic are often very plain looking. They have one thing in common: their owners understand how to get their content all over the Internet.

Today,I am going to give you some free strategies you can use to get more traffic to your blog.

1) Set up your profile
You should also have at least one profile on each of the major social media sites such as:Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn  Next thing you should do is: to link your blog to your social media profiles so that every time you create a new blog post it will automatically be sent to your social media profiles as well.
Networked Blogs will connect your blog to your Facebook profile, while Twitterfeed will link your blog to your Twitter profile. Your LinkedIn account enables you to link your blog to your profile as well.

2)Create Squidoo lenses
If you want your content to be seen, get it out there.  Create Squidoo lenses with your blog posts.
Doing so will create backlinks, therefor generating a traffic stream from that trusted site straight to yours.

3)Write comments on blogs
It is a very good idea to comment on high profile blogs within your niche. Most blogger have a feature on their blog that will list your blog’s URL with your comment. Just make sure to write valuable and engaging comments that add to the conversation.

4)Use Social Media
This is a gold mine for your blog, if utilized in the proper way.(I talked about it in other post all related to FaceBook and Twitter). By joining groups on these social platforms will further extend your reach. Do  join relevant groups that are related to your content. Otherwise you will come across as a spammer.

These are just a few free strategies that you can start implementing today that will get more traffic to your blog. Further more, if you are giving valuable content, tips and training on the front end, you are conditioning your visitors to return, subscribe and engage. They will be more likely to follow what you are up to and convert to sales and more.

The Secret To Close a Sale!

 

Do you know how to close a sale? Are you afraid when it is ” The time” to do it ?
Well, you are not alone. Did you know how many people work very hard at getting their leads,and even it they get those leads, don`t even follow up with them?
Do you have an idea how many potential clients leave a conference room because no one came to talk to them?
How do you close a sale? Do you know the secret to close a sale?
Here is the secret: Ask questions and listen.You have 2 ears and 1 mouth: so listen twice as much as you talk.

Let`s say that you just finished a presentation,and you would really like to close a sale, finally.
Here is how you go about it :
Question no 1

-What did you like best about what you heard in the presentation?Get them to share with you what their “hot buttons” are.  Listen and register what comes more often in the conversation. That`s where you will get clues to ask the next question.

Question no 2
- So do you see how the business can help you to………(state whatever their hot button is).
And next you ask them if  they are interested to earn an extra income. All you will have is a yes or a no. If the answer is no, you have not overcome their objections and you need to ask more questions so you know where you might have missed something. If  the answer is yes, go on to the next step.

Question no 3
Does the potential income earnings excite you?  If the answer is no, the person might not be interested in your opportunity. It is very rare that someone will overlook the financial reward, if their goal is to build a business. At this point, you thank them for their time,but don`t forget to ask for a referral. They may not be interested, but they maybe know someone who will. If the answer is yes, go on to number four.

Question no 4
If you’re excited about this opportunity, would you like to get started today? 
This is the final close.  It’s time for them to give you a credit card, or if they don’t have the money now, get them to fill out the application and post date it to the date that they will have the funds to get started. If they tell you that they want to get started on their next payday, tell them that’s fine…you can fill out the paperwork now, and submit it once their next payday comes around.  The idea is to get a FINAL YES, a signed application and a firm date to start.

Don`t talk for ever to someone you feel will never join you,you may loose other customers. Move on to the next and the next…. You should be able to get at least one interested person after your presentation.
Take the lead, ask questions,
listen to the answer and make your move.
Follow those 4 steps and you will be adding people to your team in no time, and you will have learned about one of the secret to close a sale.
